Covid  Safety Plan

In line with the third phase of easing of restrictions which start on Saturday 6 June 2020, we are offering customers the option of resuming in-person lessons subject to the adherence of a Covid Safety Plan. As lessons are conducted at our customer's place of residence there will be additional responsibilities that students and parents will need to agree to. Please carefully review the following plan and complete the declaration if you wish to proceed. If you have any queries please do reach out.

1. Physical and social distancing

 

Your Responsibilities

  • reschedule your lesson if you or a family member are displaying symptoms of sickness
  • reschedule your lesson if you or a family member has recently traveled overseas.
  • maintain social distancing whenever possible
  • avoid physical greetings such as handshaking and unnecessary contact

Teacher Responsibilities

  • reschedule your lesson if you or a family member are displaying symptoms of sickness

2. Hygiene

 

Your Responsibilities

  • wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds immediately prior to lessons
  • use alcohol-based hand sanitisers when you can't use soap and water
  • avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, and exercise cough or sneeze hygiene
  • clean and disinfect musical instruments and electronic devices immediately prior to lessons
  • clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doors and doorknobs
  • use electronic pay systems instead of cash where possible
  • increase the amount of fresh air by opening windows where possible

3. Response Planning

 

Your Responsibilities

  • notify us immediately if you or someone in your family has exposure or suspected exposure to COVID-19

 Teacher Responsibilities

  • maintain a record of attendance for the purpose of contact tracing
  • refer to the relevant authorities suspected cases of COVID-19 within the premise
